Intro to Ashtanga Yoga
Men and Women welcome in this rigorous beginner yoga class in classic Ashtanga style!
Class Description
This coed Ashtanga class follows a structured, flowing sequence designed to build heat, strength, flexibility, and mental focus. Rooted in breath-to-movement (vinyasa), the practice is steady and intentional, creating an internal cleanse that supports the nervous system while improving mobility and endurance. Expect to sweat, move continuously, and develop both physical resilience and mental clarity. This class emphasizes consistency and self-paced practice, allowing students to modify postures as needed while maintaining the integrity of the sequence. Over time, Ashtanga helps increase flexibility, stabilize joints, and create a strong, balanced body. Suitable for all genders and bodies, this class is ideal for students looking for a disciplined, meditative movement practice that challenges the body and calms the mind.
